NEW YORK
After a 10 hour train ride we arrived in New York around 5pm on day one. We went on a three mile walk to The Whitney Museum, while navigating and sight seeing along the way. The Whitney Museum is in close proximity to the High Line which has been used as another place for artist to display their work. The High Line is the path we followed back north. This path seemed much calmer and allowed for us to just follow along the High Line and look out into the city with out any interruptions. As the sun went down we made our way to Time Square.
On day two of the trip we headed out early and went on an 8 mile walk trying to hit all the major architecture and tourist spots throughout the city. We made our way back through central park just in time to board our train. With under 24 hours in New York City we were able to see a lot but there is still way more that we did not get to see. Below are just a few of the places that we had stopped.
THE HIGH LINE
An abandoned railway that has been converted to an elevated park with uninterrupted views of the New York City skyline and a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
